This river runs along the Somerset Road heading out to the Somerset Reservoir in southern Vermont. I am pretty sure it is not a class 4 road but it is unpaved and most likely not maintained in the off season. This photo was make from a new metal foot bridge, I believe there was a wooded and rope one that was wiped out by Irene. The bridge leads to a nice little hiking trail and on the return trip we even stopped for a dip in the river. This photo was made with a little sony nex-F3.
