I am fascinated with everything snow; when it falls, how it is blown, how it settles in trees, how muffles sound when I am riding back country tree runs and how it inevitably melts. I made this photo of some geriatric snow that is in the twilight of its life. It made no excuse for dissipating in a uneven, weathered manner and I did ask anything less.
