Aperture vs. Lightroom

By no means am I trying to start a flame war here, I just want to share my experience of moving from Aperture to Lightroom and if I will go through with it.  I will be as honest as possible.  I have been using Aperture for over 5 years now, so I am pretty entrenched in the Apple work flow.  Honestly it works really well for me.  Then you may ask why am I jumping ship?  One reason, Stability!  I have notice over the last few revisions that the stability of the program has plummeted.   It is very hard to sit in front of a client during a review and look professional when your application crashes or goes into a spinning beach ball.  Luckily I know work arounds to minimize the risk of that but I don’t want work arounds I want it to work.  On the other hand I may have to give up stability for work flow, which right out of the gate Aperture excels at.  Time will tell but, for now here is my first developed image in Lightroom.
